The fundamental difference between a liner pool and a concrete or one-piece pool is that the liner provides the water integrity for the pool and the decorative finish. The pool structure beneath the liner will not be totally watertight, but finished as smooth and as true as possible, so the liner will “fit like a glove”. The pool tank behind the liner can be built from steel, glass fibre or polymer panels but the preferred method is to build the tank from concrete blocks to avoid corrosion, delamination or osmosis.
